We finally learned the name of the little guy who’s taken popular culture by storm on last week’s episode of The Mandalorian, and it reminded me that I never shared here the brief parody lyrics I posted on Twitter a year ago before we knew anything of his background.
![[*gurgle*] Grogu, f.k.a. Baby Yoda by the Internet](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR80S4pO5NIM7rjz_gLkzwFPvNNhvgk1mzXkkiZn-beKHqLG9G04e8JeshXgED4jeYnDbfqm1o0_bfx6xCDEJ5OhAPltq_DtEaMizCTb0QxJ_mPh1QmFXFuA46NMvZ6-O_w6vOe3dSy8ENwdsiIfxI9sle1UHhQH4su_Pv0X13woZJooz0kUhyphenhyphend8P9v_c-/s320/Mandalorian-BabyYoda1.jpg)
Yoda clo-o-one
He is pale green in color
Plays with a knob and slumbers
Fifty years old, looks more
like fifty days (oh yeah)
Now you’re a kind of family
He led you down a nobler path
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone’s okay
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone’s okay
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone
Can find E.T. and then phone home
Mando, I hope that Yoda clone’s okay
Ode to a Mandalorian Theory
