No Small Parts
One tiny spoiler for Ant-Man coming up after this odd image…
Did you catch the film’s Garrett Morris cameo? He was actually the first person to
play Ant-Man on screen, in a 1979 Saturday Night Live “Superhero Party” sketch [10:21] that featured astonishingly faithful (albeit, in most cases, practically ridiculous) outfits for a handful of Marvel and DC characters. Margot Kidder hosted both the episode and, in her new big-screen role as Lois Lane, the party in the sketch with Bill Murray as Superman, Jane Curtin as Lana Lang, Morris as Ant-Man, John Belushi as The Hulk, Dan Aykroyd as The Flash, Gilda Radner and Laraine Newman as a couple of non-canonical dates, and unknown performers wearing Thing, Spider-Man, and Spider-Woman costumes. Ant-Man gets ribbed about his powers as you might expect.
I grabbed these images off the official YouTube video, linked above.
