"Can't Play Dead" is great. It sounds a balls-out late British Invasion track from the Animals or (ha) Zombies.
I don't remember Korg: 70,000 BC either. You're right, Charles Bronson would've made a great Vandal Savage, at least in the caveman days — I always thought it was funny how in the present day he evolved Caucasian features and got a perm. I swear there's a Dick Giordano Flash cover out there where he looks like George Lucas.
"Thanos and Darkseid: Carpool Buddies of Doom" was lots of fun.
Happy Halloween, for all the 5-10 minutes that are left!

I can't disagree, although — despite the fact that it just keeps jumping in with one chord over and over — the organ immediately took me to Question Mark & The Mysterians' "96 Tears".
Ha! I actually was pretty sure that was the one you meant. That's a huge chunk of nostalgia for me; it was a perennial favorite in the stash of comics kept at my grandparents' house in Wildwood.

@You: the organ immediately took me to Question Mark & The Mysterians' "96 Tears"
ReplyDeleteI see that. And now you have the song on repeat in my head.
@Me: I swear there's a Dick Giordano Flash cover out there where he looks like George Lucas.
Found it!
